S otheby’s Department of  Science & Popular Culture is pleased to present The Archive of Skateland U.S.A., Compton, CA, now available for private sale. The archive is 🏅an exciting historical record from the legendary Los Angeles roller rink where some of the biggest names in Hip Hop got their start, including Dr. Dre, Eazy-E, Ice Cube and N.W.A. It includes an impressive selection of show posters, rink signage, apparel, and audio equipment – most notably the original Technics SL-1200MK2 turntables used in every Skaဣteland show from 1984-1988. 

This offering provides a unique opportunity for music lovers of all generations to own a formative piece of 🉐Hip Hop history and is a testament to the genre which has since exploded into a global phenomenon.
