Richa🌸rd Young joined Sotheby’s Wine Department in 2018 after over seven years of fine wine auct♈ion experience at Christie’s, where he successfully managed the sale of numerous important private collections. He was also instrumental in the success of launching wine online sales in 2012.

Richard graduated from Cornell University where he was awarded the prestigious Julius Wile Commanderie de Bordeaux aux Etats-Unis d'Amérique Bordeaux Education Prize and winning the Clear Indexes LLC ETF Competition for his work on Bordeaux and Weather Futures. He is also a certified sommelier by the Court of Master Sommeliers.
