筐有桃，盧橘寥寥，榴華開矣，紅帬鬥嬌，我歌且謠，海上乎消
搖。丁巳二月。笙伯畫成，屬吳昌碩題字。
鈐印：
〈吳徵〉 「吳待秋」。
〈吳昌碩〉「 吳昌石」。

-Mild foxy and signs of paper loss at the top and the middle part of the painting, which have been improved by restoration. Otherwise, generally in good condition.

註：本幅乃商笙伯與吳待秋合繪，倩缶老題跋。未署年，若從題
跋曰「丁巳二月」，復兼畫中菓品似屬新春清供之意，可推知應為
一九一七年初之作。畫者跋者皆民初滬上畫壇名家，此類合繪者
在海派畫作中常見，或出諸雅集，或應求者而製，亦反映當時名
家輩出，藝壇氣氛活躍。
倉石與商氏尤為深交。在笙伯所藏趙之謙綾本〈芙蓉〉的邊跋上，
缶老長題曰「辛亥中秋，笙伯客武昌，兵民交閧，篋中所攜卷軸甚
夥，一時散佚無遺。壬子春仲，有人以悲盦畫索售於滬上，老缶
展視，知為笙伯故劍，亟歸之。笙伯狂喜，屬記其因。」由此可知
兩人友情之篤。本幅再由缶老題字，亦為這種交情堅固延續之証
矣！
