On the sixth day of the first month of summer in the dingchou year (1637), I stand in front of the Cloud Wave Pavilion as white pomegranates are in bloom, bearing old man Ke an invitation to drink underneath it. With this fine piece of high verse, I make an impression of this flower, making only a slight record of its flourishing. Yue'an Bizheng.
