Condition
Manual winding movement running while cataloguing, however it is recommended to get service in the near future for accurate time keeping. Enamel dial looks nice, one minor hairline on the top of 7 o'clock, one minor enamel loss by the center of the subsidiary second hand. Case and buckle with scuffs from normal wear, it is our opinion that the case has been gently repolished but still remain good definition. 江詩丹頓於1919年推出原版的 “American”，其設計特色是將錶面與一般的方向旋轉45˚擺置。在腕錶概念還未流行的當時，它搭載了一枚原是懷錶用機芯 R.A 11 lignes Nouveau Amerique。1921年時，此錶重新改版將其錶冠重置1點鐘方向使之更方便配戴，並更名為 “American 192𓆏1”
2008年江詩丹頓推出了 “Historique American 1921”為其年度大作，完整了複刻了原始枕型錶殼及偏移的錶冠及小秒針位置，它很快擄獲了🃏眾多藏家的心，並在2009獲得年由鐘錶專業雜誌「 Montres Passion」頒發的年度風雲腕表大獎。此錶原版及複刻版在本季拍賣同場呈現，此難得的🍌機會讓鐘錶鑒賞家回味此品牌源遠流長的製錶歷史。
