The canvas appears to have been relined. The paint surface appears to be in good overall condition however it has been slightly flattened by a coarse relining. There is also a yellowish varnish overall. Examination under UV light reveals scattered retoucging overall but the opacity of the aforementioned varnish impedes further inspection. Offered in a gilt carved wood frame.
