註：大千先生對作畫材料工具極為講究，筆硯紙張以至色墨顏料，不
吝重值置之。本幅亦採用佳楮，以其材質細滑，發墨佳，足與「南朝宣
紙」比擬。畫中老松粗幹矗立，腰圓拙壯，如披鱗甲，橫枝招展，繞曲
屈伸，狀若遊龍矯捷盤旋。老者立於樹下，撚鬚相賞，人樹俱老，具
松壽遐齡之意。

畫家雖曰「目障未能白描」，但寫來愜意非常，畫面左上方僅餘一線空
間，稍加題跋而無間隙之地鈐蓋印章，故兩方姓名印鈐於樹幹下方，
可見他行筆縱放，興到筆隨，不拘小節，毫釐之距，反見率性而為
處。用筆剛健，精氣貫紙，老人雖側面，卻不減其俊朗丰神，其身軀
以墨線勾勒，復覆上淺赭淡青，凸顯衣褶之質感，再薄敷白粉，加強
了人物的體積感。細微處收拾得宜，又焉有半分衰老病態呢！
