註：吳冠中筆下頗多取景三峽，如〈巫峽魂〉、如〈神女在望〉。本
幅寫瞿塘峽，窮其兩岸峭壁對峙，從中迸裂出狹窄水道之險峻，
此即「夔門天下雄」精奇之景。畫中以粗筆濃墨疾掠紙上，運用如
傳統技法中之斧劈皴的剛勁綫條，刻劃了河道兩岸峭壁懸崖似刀
劈斧砍之奇特地貌。最高處見奇峰冒起凸出，似犀牛仰首東望，
乃該處勝景之一的「犀牛望月」。透過此具標誌性質的景點即帶
出瞿塘峽之主題，這與處理神女峯即帶出巫峽般，同見其心思靈
巧，從一點而擴及全景之妙。
