賈島同名詩句，或出諸說部，惜欠文字提示。畫中人物以白描法
寫之，無背景，綫條圓轉，筆墨蒼古，類近〈無雙譜〉中的歷朝先
賢。心畬先生筆下或有所本，故畫風書體與慣常所見有別。從署
款鈐印所示，似屬四十年代初期之作。

本幅同屬日本水原氏舊藏。著名詞人水原琴窗（1892-1976）與畫家
亦為舊識。
