上款：「薇風」即曹薇風，湖南人，乃憲兵上校。政權轉易之際，
東南軍政長官公署在台北中山南路設凱歌歸招待所，他即任職於
此。心畬先生初抵台灣，獲安排暫居該處。或因舊識憲兵司令張
鎮關係，頗得曹氏照顧。一九五○年春，遷出招待所，入住省府
提供於臨沂街之日式平房。生活安定後，多於晚上著述及寫字作
畫，日課已畢，每有好友門人來訪夜話。曹薇風亦為訪客之一，
可知交誼未因遷居而中輟。

本幅寫於公曆一九五一年一月左右，從題跋所示，曹氏「每夜來
訪，雖風雨無阻」，屬臨沂街常客。難怪獲心畬贈書畫極夥，有謂
多至數百幀。本幅畫面簡潔，酒壺伴折枝紅梅，清疏淡逸，別饒
雅趣，寓迎春之意，復具文人韵致，可謂用心也！
