匣外：
吳倉碩畫三友圖。

匣內：
此圖筆勢雅健，非老熟不能也。印人傳曰：吳俊卿字倉碩，一字
昌石，自號石人子，又石敢當「苦鐵」。安吉人，官江蘇知縣。性
孤冷，工詩，能篆籀及刻石，又喜作畫，天真爛漫，在青藤、雪
个間。又與吳愙齋善，見聞日廣，而氣韻益超，有〈缶廬詩存〉、
〈印存〉。鐵城主人題籤並記。

款識：
匹士梅花老衲松，竹枝寒意伴高蹤。
曾見錢籜石宗伯作〈歲寒交〉題此二語。兹錄之。癸丑嘉平月。吳
昌碩並記。

鈐印：「吳俊之印」、「吳倉石」、「古鄣」。

註：松竹梅謂「歲寒三友」，合壽石則稱「四友」，皆歲寒傲雪之
物，故喻友誼堅貞穩固。缶老畫之詠之，屢見於其作品中。
本幅寫於癸丑嘉平月，時屆歲晚，或觸景興起，遂取四友入圖，
並錄錢籜石句張之。畫中瘦梅昂立，非十圍之粗幹，卻呈挺拔之
姿；蒼虬若鑄鐵盤屈，從下方蜿蜒而出，與瘦梅成犄角相對；孤
竹則穿越松枝探首斜伸，三友遂成上下、橫斜呼應之勢。堅固厚
實之壽石揖讓於後，一派君子穩重之風。如斯題材，昌碩處理可
謂駕輕就熟，若順手拈來，佈局簡約，無雕琢痕迹，但四友位置
編排似自然而生，天趣溢然。畫家以篆籀筆法寫之，綫條簡鍊俐
落，暗含靭勁，墨色深淺有致，濃墨點竹葉，淡墨寫壽石，狀物
輕重、前後，情態立現，不著迹中仍見心思，正是腕底有鬼神
矣！
