本幅具「雪江堂」開列之收據，上列作品名稱「白石真筆畫父子
鷄」， 售價及購買者姓名， 日期為「昭和42年10月9日」， 即
一九六七年，貼有銷售印花，並鈐「西園寺雪江」印。
另有「雪江堂」寄予購買者之便箋及實寄封， 封上郵戳為
「42.10.11」，可知附收據於兩日後寄出。
「雪江堂」乃日本政界元老西園寺公一（1906-1993）於一九六三年
創立。他與中國政府及民間淵源深厚，四九年後，一直從事中日
友好工作，是日中友好協會創始人，大力推動兩國非官方的交流
活動。一九五八年起長居北京，直到「文革」亂局，他在周恩來勸
告下返回日本，免受衝擊。
一九六五年，「雪江堂」獲中國政府特准購進齊白石作品百餘件，
籌劃在當地巡迴展出，並得郭沫若為展覽題詞。本幅即是批作品
之一，保持裝裱原貌，畫背貼有作出口用途之「中國製造」英文標
簽，並鈐「檢訖」之朱文印記。

-Light foxy could be found on the painting, which could be improved by restoration. Paper tear could be found at the right border. Otherwise, generally in good condition.
