In good condition, with some light surface scratching commensurate with age and wear. The rubies are well-matched for color and decorative in quality. The 33 diamonds are approximately G-H color, predominantly VS clarity with some SI examples. Please note the brooch includes old European and single-cut diamonds, not just round diamonds as indicated by the printed catalogue. Well made, with good metalwork throughout. The center section is removable, perhaps replaced at one time by a different center section for day wear.
