Movement and all function are in working order while cataloguing. Minute repeating strikes with a crisp tone, very even and harmonised. One superficial mark to the dial near 3 o'clock, only visible under a powerful loupe, otherwise very nice and clean. Case with surface hairlines, visible small nicks to the left bottom lug, strong hallmarks. Buckle with normal signs of wear. Overall condition is very good. A rare piece to appear in the market especially with such a complete set of accessories.

1989年，正值品牌成立150週年之際，百達翡𝓡麗發行了3974型號紀念錶款，這無疑是品牌最重要的錶款之一。搭載了三問，萬年曆及24小時顯示等功能，以22K金擺坨自動上鏈，造就了劃時代的複雜腕錶。其機芯，Cal.R 27 Q，由467個零部件組成，錶殼直徑為28毫米，厚度僅7毫米，完美展現了百達翡麗精密製造的技術成就及品牌引以為傲的清脆簧音。此錶款選用18K黃金，粉紅金，白金及鉑金材質，於2002年停止，總生產量僅為100-1💃20枚，其中白金材質最為罕有。2003年3月3日紐約蘇富比腕錶拍賣中，一枚作為封面拍品出現的百達翡麗3974G型號腕錶成交，其機芯編號為1906062。這是迄今僅有的關於此型號白金材質錶款的拍賣記錄。今次此枚於前者同為乳白色鍍銀錶盤，且機芯編號連續的3974型號腕錶極有可能是品牌僅有的兩枚白金出品之一。

此枚腕錶由持有者1992年從百達翡麗購買，是極少數拍賣市場可見的配件齊全（♔附帶證書，原廠木盒，編號白金錶蓋及調校筆）的腕錶範例。

此枚腕錶是鐘錶收藏家夢寐以求之物，百達翡麗黃金時代出品的重要錶款現身今次拍賣，實屬機會難得。
