Accompanied by Cartier Certificate of Authenticity no. GE2010-155.
Signed Cartier, New York, Made in France, maker's marks. Stamped with French assay marks for platinum and 18 carat gold, also stamped 18 and 75 referring to 18 carat gold. According to the Cartier certificate the bag was made in London in 1929 and is set with 439 diamonds; bright and lively. Dial signed Cartier France, movement signed European Watch and Clock Co Inc and numbered 26605, mechanical movement in running condition at time of cataloguing, please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee future working condition of watches but that the watch was recently serviced by the Cartier watch workshop. Enamel with one small area of loss below clasp, few small repair marks, otherwise in good condition. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. Well preserved and in good condition. Gross weight approximately 403 grams.
