Condition
Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece contains a ruby of Burmese origin and therefore cannot be imported into the US. Please contact the jewellery department for further information or see our Important Notices.
Accompanied by Laboratoire Français de Gemmologie report no. 187123, stating that the ruby is of Burmese origin, with no indication of thermal enhancement.
Signed Van Cleef & Arpels © 64 and numbered B199530. Stamped with indistinct French assay mark for 18 carat gold. According to the LFG report, the ruby measures 10.25 x 8.67 x 5.80 mm and weighs 5.34 carat; it is of a translucent red with some typical crystal inclusions, few surface reaching, few scratches and nicks. Diamonds bright and lively. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 8 grams.
