註：任頤鮮寫山水，間有之，僅作人物畫之背景，施諸扇面則更稀。本幅寫於盛年，以幽山寡寂之景入圖，雖非文人出身，畫境中卻無時流習氣，筆意荒率冷竣，點劃簡練，褪盡修飾，返璞歸真，其中不無楊伯潤畫風影響之痕迹，也是伯年率真個性之流露。窮款，僅署年，欠缺詩文長題，正合其筆下之慣例。
