劉紀文舊藏近代名家書畫 （編號 1322－1332）

劉紀文舊藏近代名家書畫於二〇一三年春推出首輯，內容以二十世紀書畫界作品為主。本輯重點則置於劉氏與國民政府黨國要員之關係，輔以廣東畫家精繪之作。劉紀文（1890-1957），廣東順德人。受革命思潮影響加入同盟會。辛亥革命後赴日留學，返國後任職軍政府審計局局長。一九二三年往英國進修，並考察歐美各國之市政規劃建設。二六年回國，被任命粵省農工廳廳長。翌年，國民政府定都南京後，歷任要職，在掌首都、廣州市政期間，發展基礎建設，大肆興革，令市容大有改觀。三七年調任審計部，一度署理部長職位。四九年政局遽變，他輾轉赴香港，復遷居東瀛。一九五四年定居台灣，擔任總統府國策顧問、光復大陸設計委員會委員之職。五六年因病赴美療養，五七年病逝於洛杉磯。

註：戴傳賢與劉紀文同為革命同志，共事於國民政府，其夫人許淑珍與戴氏亦具世誼，從〈革命元老劉紀文傳〉書中，記述許充任信差，將粵方之密函交時任考試院長之戴季陶轉致南京，從中可見戴、劉公誼私交之關係。本幅以「老兄」稱謂紀文，足可証之！一九二八年，劉氏掌南京市政，大肆興革建設，更改各城門舊有名稱，並邀六位黨國要人題寫新城門匾額，題者包括蔣介石、譚延闓等，戴季陶亦其一。
