註：潘靜淑擅繪花卉蔬菓，沒骨宗法南田，兼觀摩宋元大家，輔以個人氣質修養，筆下流露秀逸之氣，設色清麗淡雅，具出塵之致。她早逝，流傳作品不多，所見俱屬花菓題材。尺幅多為斗方、冊頁或手卷，大幛中堂稀矣！

此〈牡丹〉及〈茶花〉兩幀，似從冊頁中散出，一具湖帆先生題跋，另一由潘氏自題，兼署年款，若對照「梅景書屋」收錄作品所鈐畫家印章及吳氏家藏印記，無論用印或鈐蓋規格、位置，與本幅幾無差異，可知一九三六年正潘靜淑筆硯勤快之時，湖帆為添題賦句，雙修閣中彼此書畫相配，梅景書屋裡鑑賞品評，關係真如趙管，教人羨若「神仙眷侶」！
