天如先生屬粲。壬申三月黃賓虹寫。

鈐印：「黃賓公」。

藏印：「藤香堂」。

唐天如（1877-1961）舊藏。
唐氏，字恩溥，廣東新會人。少年舉孝廉，後為國史館總裁。歷任廣東高等學教職。晚年移居香港，曾任香港紅卍字會會長。他工詩擅書，與文化界來往頻仍。三十年代與黃賓虹過從尤見密切。証諸傳世畫跡，早於一九二九年，黃賓虹已有作品饋贈。唐氏又得晚清時期廣東收藏名家潘仕成室號「聽颿樓」之舊匾，復倩賓虹為之補圖，曾於三年內三寫〈聽颿樓圖〉送贈，本幅即其一，足證關係甚佳。一九五八年五月，香港舉行黃賓虹作品欣賞會，彙集本港藏家之精品，被喻為四九年後在海外最重要的黃氏作品個展，其中十餘件即借自唐氏，本幅即其一。
