Rolex launched the reference 4313 in the 1940s. This unusual model is characterized by the large teardrop-shaped lugs mounted onto the bezel and atypical dial which does not display the usual technical scales such as tachometer, telemeter or pulsometer usually found on Rolex chronographs from that time. This different layout increases the readability makes the model appear even larger.
