Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece contains rubies of Burmese origin and therefore cannot be imported into the US. Accompanied by Gübelin report no. 9407074, dated 11 August 1994, stating that the oval ruby weighing 2.66 carats and measuring 10.38 x 7.27 x 3.90mm, is of Burmese origin, with no evidence of thermal treatment. Please note that the certificate is dated 1994 and might require an update. Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold, mounted in yellow gold. Ruby purple red of medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions visible under close inspection, minor abrasions; for further details on the stone, please refer to the Gübelin report. No evidence of wear to the metal, in like-new condition.
