Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece contains a ruby of Burmese origin and therefore cannot be imported into the US. Accompanied by SSEF report no. 66233, stating that the ruby weighing 7.30 carats and measuring 11.08 x 10.81 x 5.59 mm, is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating and a moderate amount of oil in fissures. Purplish red ruby of medium strong saturation, with typical surface reaching inclusions, few small nicks and scratches, one chip on crown facets. Diamonds bright and lively. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use, minor evidence of resizing. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 6 gram.
