Condition
Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the green chalcedony on the "bird" brooch is translucent, of medium intense bluish green colour. The turquoise on the "mouse' brooch is opaque, of bright sky blue colour, with minor yellowish matrix on the surface, not noticeable in normal visual distance. On general, other coloured stones are of strong red and blue colours respectively. All brooches are signed VCA and numbered, with French assay marks.
Condition: This group of brooches are offered without reserve. There is slight tarnishment on the back of the dog brooch, pin is slightly crooked and the black enamel nose is chipped. Overall, there are surface wear to the metal, otherwise all in good condition.
