Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US; this piece may contain a ruby of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered 58043. French maker's mark for Van Cleef & Arpels. French assay marks for platinum and gold. Cabochon sapphires well matched in colour, blue of medium light saturation, with typical inclusions, a few surface reaching. Rubies and sapphires well matched in colour, with typical inclusions, a few surface reaching, some nicks and abrasions. Diamonds bright and lively. In good condition, well preserved. Gross weight approximately 81 grams.
