The painting is in good condition overall. There is a pin-sized hole on the upper left corner of the painting, and the weave of the silk is slightly loose in scattered areas in the lower register, which may be a pre-existing condition of the medium, but the painting itself is well-preserved. Upon close observation shows a slight undulation of on the surface. Examination under ultraviolet light reveals a spot of retouching on the cheekbone (near the hairline) of the figure, which is not visible to the naked eye. Framed, under Plexiglas.
