The work is in good condition overall, as is the board, which is free from warping and cracks. There is light wear and handling around the edges of the painting, along with associated minor craquelures primarily on the top margin. Upon close observation, there is evidence of gentle flaking of paints on the left register (orange and black paints), but the impastos are stable. Examination under ultraviolet light reveals restorations along the margins of the painting and minor touch-ups scattered on the houses. Framed.
