註：「深杏樓」者，香港收藏家雷君軾築於赤柱之別業。雷氏，新會人，經營藥業，嗜書畫，當時避兵流寓香江之藝文界人士，常聚於其「深杏樓」，如鄧芬、黃般若、張祥凝、簡經綸等，張大千亦曾參與其中。

「四近樓主」即區少幹（1903－1982），廣東南海人，書法家區季謀弟。善詩能文，少年負笈上海，從胡適遊，得新文學風氣之先，鑽研〈紅樓夢〉有成，發表文章十餘萬言。他活躍於香江文壇，著有〈四近樓詩〉、〈四近樓談屑〉等。
