久不作楷，眼昏手澁，都不成字。頃承石公仁兄書家督書，勉為應教，乞秘之勿示人也。韵村恩華。

上款：「石工」即著名金石書法家壽鑈（1885-1949）。大千與壽氏訂交於三十年代初，屢有作品送贈，所用印章亦有出自壽氏刀下。本幅未署年款，考其筆墨構圖，皆法清湘老人，書體風格及所鈐印章，亦類三十年代初期，可推為此時之作。

註：本幅寫於「大風堂」製箋上，扇箋夾層印有「大風堂善孖、大千監製」。

另面書法出自恩華，蒙古旗人，氏巴嚕特，字詠春，又字韻村。好搜集八旗人士著作，幾近千種。三十年代編成〈八旗藝文編目〉。
