上款：「景文」即嚴景文（1905-1987），江蘇蘇州人，乃上海商界鉅子。上世紀四十年代，他在滬創辦萬源紗號，曾任永大銀行經理、統一紗廠董事等職。五七年移居香港。嚴氏雅好書畫，收藏量豐質精。
