-Signs of restoration can be found on the couplet, where there appears to be insect bites at both the calligraphy characters and in the blank area. Creases and signs of abrasion can be found on the couplet, which can be improved by restoration. Otherwise, generally in fair to good condition.

上款：「伯鸞」或為廣東著名藏書家龍鳳鑣（1867-1909）。龍氏，廣東順德人，出身當地望族，曾任京官。好訪書，其「六篆樓」藏精槧甚豐，刊有〈知服齋叢書〉。他與梁鼎芬為表親，刊書又得李田文指導。愙齋曾撫粵，與梁、李皆有舊誼，且同嗜收藏，或因此淵源，雖與龍氏年齡頗有距離，仍書此以贈。
