拍品資料及來源

First known as the "Service with Representations of Russian Costume" or the "Russian Service," the original title was undoubtedly inspired by Stepan Pimenov's designs for vases for the dessert course incorporating gilded figures of classicized Russian peasant youths. An 1848 inventory records 39 different types of vases; versions of the tazza-form dessert vase called Fall (Osen) are held in the collections of the Russian Museum (F-5761) and State Museum-Preserve Kuskovo. On the service, see I.P. Popova, "Dekorativnye vazy Gur'evskogo serviza," Pinakoteka 1 (1997): 48-53.
