Ignaz Joseph Würth was the maker of the second Sachsen-Teschen service (1779-1782), recently the subject of an exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art "Vienna Circa 1780: An Imperial Silver Service Rediscovered" and its corresponding publication of the same name. The workshop also supplied Emperor Joseph II, the Danish Royal Court, and pieces sent by Maria Theresa to her daughter Marie-Antoinette at Versailles in 1780.
