on shaped square bases stamped and chased with scrolls, one side engraved with crest and motto NOMEN EXTENDERE FACTIS, the stems as ionic columns, detachable nozzles, two later, weighted bases

The crest is that of Neeld of Grittleton house, co. Wiltshire. Joseph Neeld, b. 1789, was Philip Rundell's great nephew and principle heir, inheriting a fortune of £900,000 when Rundell died in 1827; he became a baronet in 1869.
