The eighteen translucent jadeite of deep celadon tone, meticulously carved as The Eighteen Arhats, Luohans, each depicting a unique character.

Colour and Clarity: According to the Jadeite Testing Certificates, the carved jadeite "immortal" are natural, Type A Jadeite Jade. Please refer to the certificates for details. In our opinion, these jadeite carvings are translucency, of medium soft green colour, with white clouds upon close look. Condition: This group of carved jadeite "Eighteen Arhats" is traditional Chinese immortals, giving protection to people, with an impressive wooden stand, in very good condition. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please note that jadeite and rubies of Burmese origin and articles of jewellery containing jadeite or rubies of Burmese origin all less than 100 years old may not be imported into the US. The purchaser's inability to import any item into the U.S. or any other country as a result of these or other restrictions shall not justify cancellation or rescission of the sale or any delay in payment. 十八羅漢

羅漢是「阿羅漢」的簡稱，亦是佛陀得道弟子修證最高的果位。其梵名為Arhat，意譯上有三層的解釋：殺賊、應供及無生。意思指羅漢六根清靜，已經斷除了三界的煩惱，可以接受天地間人天供養，而且不再受生死輪回之苦，進入永恒不變的涅槃境界。民間傳說中他們原為十八個強盗，痛心悔改後上山修煉，最後成了引導眾生向善的聖者。亦有人說羅漢本來只有十六個，但因為十八為吉祥之數，亦是在中🌞國代表「無限不盡」的九之倍數，所以後來又多加了二位尊者，合成十八位性格造型各有特色的羅漢。
