Condition
Colour and Clarity: According to the Jadeite Jade Testing Certificate, the carved jadeite "monkey" is natural, Type A Jadeite Jade. Please refer to the certificate for details. In our opinion, the jadeite "monkey" is translucent, of strong emerald green colour. Under strong transmitted lighting, there are cloud inclusions, but not noticeable in normal lighting. The largest round diamond in the surmount is about H colour, VS clarity. Other tiny diamonds are probably of G to H colours, mostly VS clarity.
Condition: Karat white gold mount, back cover can be opened to reveal the thickness and translucency of the pendant, overall in very good condition.

機靈活潑的猴子
在中國民間故事中，最為人熟悉的猴子一定是《西遊記》裡的齊天大聖孫悟空。他憑著機智和無邊的法力，護送唐三藏高僧到天竺取經，一 路上降魔伏妖。猴子在中國傳統中是足智多謀、很人性化，但又有一點頑皮的動物，這些性格特徵在孫悟空身上也找得到。猴子在十二生肖裡排行第九，其機🌜靈的造型經常出現在中國傳統工藝品中，多半是手抱桃子，有祝壽的意思。此外，因為「ཧ猴」跟「侯」同音，因此贈送雕有猴子的翡翠雕件亦代表升官發財，事事順景的美好寓意。
