In good condition. The diamonds are approximately H-J color and VS-SI clarity. Very flexible and well made. Fitted with a safety chain. Family records suggest the piece was purchased at T Kirkpatrick in New York in January 1901. Accompanied by a beige velvet heart-shaped fitted box signed Tiffany & Co. New York, Paris, London. Embossed with script initials C.E.H. for Charlotte Elizabeth Hill on lid.

James J Hill, known as 'The Empire Builder' founded Great Northern Railroad in 1866. This bracelet belonged to his daughter Charlotte, who married George T. Slade, who was an executive at Great Northern Railroad and attended Yale with her brother, Louis W. Hill. Their 1906 wedding was one of the greatest events seen by St. Paul society.
