The mounting in fair to good condition with wear to the highpoints of the chased engraving commensurate with age. The shank is split at the site of where it had previously been sized. The bezel presents an uneven outline on close inspection; it is unclear if this is original to the time of manufacture or if the stone had been removed for polishing. The richly colored medium-deep orange citrine is eye-clean with one small cavity to a bezel facet.
