Condition
In very good condition with gentle surface wear to the mounting. The sapphire is medium-deep slightly violetish blue with an even color distribution. Eye-clean with a band of silk to one quadrant when viewed at an angle. Overall, a nicely crystalline stone. Accompanied by Gübelin report no. 14067114 stating that the sapphire is of Kashmir origin, with no indications of heating. Together with an information sheet on the quality and rarity of Kashmir sapphires. Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 61364 stating that the sapphire is of Kashmir origin, with no indications of heating. Accompanied by GIA report no. 2165073204 stating that the 1.06 carat diamond is G color, VVS2 clarity. Accompanied by GIA report no. 2165497968 stating that the 1.01 carat diamond is G color, VS2 clarity. Please note that the image for this lot, the sapphire and diamond ring, was incorrectly numbered in the printed book.
