Condition
On copperplate which is flat and stable. Overall there is very good retention of the paint surface with very nice retention of detail in foreground figures and landscape, and strong coloration. Examination under ultraviolet light reveals that there are numerous scattered retouches in the sky at the upper left quadrant of the picture. The other portions of the painting have far fewer retouches with just a few scattered here and there. Offered in a brown wood frame with gilding at the outer and inner rims.
