註：高氏偶以絹材作畫，多出於早歲，描劃較細緻，富裝飾性，流露東洋畫風影響痕迹。本幅寫老鷹側踞蒼松，傾身趨前，雙目凝注，眼神凌厲，姿態威猛，似欲躍起撲擊。翎毛遍體層叠披蓋，色潤澤光亮，極具質感。如此形神俱備，兼具個人風格者，雖畫上未署年款，從中可推知，應屬上世紀二十年代所出，堪與其代表作〈秋樹饑鷹〉比擬，且為大幅絹本，更形稀有。
