Creases can be found on the painting, which can be improved by restoration. Four edges of the painting is partially covered by the mounting. Otherwise, generally in good condition.

重要私人收藏林風眠作品

本幅拍賣所得，概捐予「馮紀忠學術基金有限公司」。該機構屬非牟利性質，為紀念中國近代著名建築學家、教育家馮紀忠（1915-2009）教授而籌備成立，宗旨在舉辦有關建築、藝術和文哲各科際之學術活動，並資助青年學者出版相關的學術著作。籌備過程中已先後推出一連串相關活動，如出版一套三冊之〈馮紀忠研究系列〉專著，去年底假北京大學舉行學術講座，由范景中教授主講「韵：宋代的一個藝術觀念」，學術界反應熱烈。

註：畫家於畫背題「給馮葉」♍，並署年「一九七九」，由此可知乃自滬移居香港初期所寫，後親自挑選參加台北國立歷史博物館舉行之大型🀅展覽。該館出版〈林風眠畫集〉所訂之創作年份為一九八三年，實製作時之誤。
