註：白石生平作畫無數，尤以水族題材遐邇聞名，筆下魚蝦蟹皆活潑靈動，添上青蛙，寫成四屏，則更受歡迎，惟其四屏鮮有，傳世更稀。本幅藏者以此難求，遂別圖他法，冀逐一搜集組合成之。經年累月，先後徵得三幀，尺幅大小相若，構圖、筆法同出一轍，且創作年份僅四載之差，合置亦諧協無異，惜久候未得補其缺者，宿願難償，遂釋出以待有緣者補成之！
