如🎀皋冒廣生(1873-1959),冒辟彊之後,晚清民初著名學者,海上詞壇耆宿。其科名早,享大年,家世、輩份以至學養、文章,皆為士林所重。居滬,與文化藝術界淵源俱深,執晚輩後學禮待之者眾。
本輯所集即應冒氏所請而製。〈寫經圖〉系列之創作緣起於冒氏早年在京廠肆所見康熙年間俞培為查昇所作〈查聲山寫經圖〉,查氏曾請數人寫同一題材,描繪其為母抄經情景,發揚教孝之義。鶴亭初以俞氏此圖作於查聲山居憂時,念其不祥而未得購置,待其母周氏過世,再欲尋此,卻已歸他人,遂起延請當代名家仿寫之意,以寄託對慈母之懷念。一九三○年他竟再得〈查聲山寫經圖〉原作,亦冥冥中有神明護佑其♒好古、敬孝之心。
冒鶴亭邀集並時名家作〈寫經圖〉凡共廿四件,十二件為手卷,由一九二七年顧鶴逸起,迄一九五五年吳湖帆、周錬霞合作止,繪者包括王一亭、溥心畬、張大千等,除吳周合作一卷外,其餘皆完成於一九二ꦗ七至三七年間,他每卷各賦詩詞一首。一九五四年初,復邀約眾畫家,仍以此題作畫,然是次取一尺見方小幀形制,別於之前長卷,以舊藏嶺南名家姚粟若為首,餘為唐雲、陳佩秋、錢瘦鐵、謝稚柳、張石園、鄭慕康、俞子才等。翌年春,各家陸續完成,冒氏仍每圖配一詩,共十二葉,與前十二卷合成「雙璧輝映」。
本輯陳佩秋、俞子才兩葉,各有鶴亭一詩為配。陳氏一作赭石寫茅屋、花青點內設,淳簡樸素,四面山石草樹、溪流遠瀑,皆以水墨為之,屬畫家古意山水最經意一類。俞子才一幅取惠崇青綠法,繪朱欄小閣掩映於柳☂溪間,遠山含翠,青衣人閣中端坐抄經。其畫法極盡細緻能事,柳樹墨色疊加,密密層層,十餘層點畫方得蓊鬱貌。鶴亭詩云「江南畫史無間出,名家二四君占一」、「天生先後兩姓俞,為寫經圖成故實」,將俞氏分別與其師吳湖帆、以及〈查聲山寫經圖〉作者俞培相提並論,激賞之情滿溢於外。
〈寫經圖〉廿四卷冊後零落星散,大千一卷現藏上海博物館外,偶⛄見市肆者僅三五。本輯雖鱗爪鴻跡,惟當年鶴亭經營規模之刻意用心,足堪今人想像矣ꦓ。
