-Light foxing can be found, especially on the left and in the lower section of the painting, and fabric loss can be found at one character at the inscription, which can be improved by restoration. Otherwise, generally in fair to good condition.

上款：「詠香」即吳詠香（1913-1970），福建閩侯人，幼隨父吳藹宸遊宦，居天津，從陳少梅、陳樂如習畫。一九三四年考入北平藝專，並得溥心畬教誨。一九四八年底赴台。

溥氏東渡台灣後，師生重晤，兩家居住頗近，她請益甚勤，心畬先生贊其「山水花鳥，師承宋元，濟之以勤，故其藝日進……儒亦助其切磋，增益以勵之，非能為之師也」，器重之切，可見一斑。

註：本幅純以淡墨於素絹寫煙江疊嶂，袛見山石崚嶒，松林佈列，蕭寺傑閣，樓宇對衡，飛檐相接，樹掩雲迷隱現其間，僅有孤柳疏枝，飄搖可辨；下臨江水橫流，蓑翁舟楫，御水緩行。其淡墨運用，點染微妙，即輕重分明，煙籠雨罩，盡見其中。題曰「須臾而成」，落筆疾速，頃刻即就，但見瀟灑飄逸，無荒率之氣，實畫家思定在先，胸有成竹，舉重若輕。畫上署年「甲子」，實誤，蓋「甲子」乃一九二四年，師生之誼未訂，且與溥氏晚年畫風脗合，可知應為「甲午」，即一九五四年之作。
