我破例在畫上題了詩，「崎嶇千里訪玉龍，不見真形誓不還；趁月三更悄露面，長纓在手縛名山。」太興奮了，但我不喜歡將詩題在畫面上，局限了畫境，後來還是將詩裁去了。 ─ 吳冠中〈雲南行〉

其實，畫家並未真的把詩從畫面裁掉，而是巧妙地以一角墨山隱之。
