十字街頭老少年，看花曾墮紫騮鞭；曉風殘月和朝雨，怕聽琵琶第四弦。

半世驕人一字間，我心止水恨連山；於今老眼能舒處，只在銅羅又一灣。

相逢翻恨十年遲，細意深言勝舊知。一自小紅低唱罷，嬾將嬌韻製新詞。
右錄〈避風塘雜詠二十首〉之三。從心先生。

註：鄧芬，奇才也。詩詞書畫皆擅，亦通音律。因賞徐柳仙唱腔別樹一幟，故贈〈夢覺紅樓〉一曲，逐字逐句親示範教唱，徐氏遂以此名聞曲壇。畫家流寓澳門後，徐柳仙夫婦常去探訪，復得餽贈書畫。

本幅寫持扇仕女，庭中賞紅桃綠柳，燕燕雙飛，畫中人莫非受贈者之寫照，蓋畫家曾為徐柳仙寫像於〈寫夢圖〉卷。 另面書七絕四首，其一為舊題〈夢覺紅廔曲〉，餘者乃六○年秋後〈懷避風塘十六首〉之三。前為舊曲如夢去，後乃新聲伴耳來，廿載相隔，幾無滄桑之感矣！
