捷克著名漢學家高德華（Dana Kalvodová，1928-2003）舊藏高氏， 捷克查理大學東方系畢業， 受教於該國漢學泰斗普實克（Jaroslava Průška, 1906-1980），得博士學位。上世紀五十年代至六十年代期間，她先後隨捷克文工團訪華，擔任翻譯，並曾在北京留學兩年，專研中國傳統戲曲。返國後，從事教育工作。

捷克私人舊藏近代名家畫（編號1276-1280）

捷克是東歐諸國中最重視中國二十世❀紀書畫者，其收藏傳統悠久，可早溯至上世紀二十年代𓆏。一九四九年後，因國際政局變幻，同屬社會主義陣營之中捷交流頻繁，來華而傾慕東方文化者，無論外交人員、專家學者以至留學生，多以當代中國畫家作品為蒐集目標，故捷克國立美術館收藏白石畫作逾百幀，而該國民間收藏的數量更可觀。本輯所集即出此淵源，如海兹拉爾、賽伏契克、高德華，皆五十年代在華留學或服務期間所得。
