青綠重色，元趙文敏追唐軼宋，獨擅勝場。前見此幀於故家，絹色雖黯，神彩不失，工緻豔麗之中饒有靜穆之氣，所謂濃中帶逸也。茲以生宣背臨大意，運筆澀滯，既遜絹素之潤澤，且策駑駘以躡騏驥，終覺望塵莫及耳。己巳春初。清曾秦淦。
鈐印：
「 秦淦私印」、「清曾」、「家學」、「長留天地間」、「桐陰曾孫」、「鉏彝齋」。

註：秦淦乃咸同年間著名書畫家秦祖永曾孫。其家富收藏，在上海開設藝苑真賞社，精印書畫碑帖，對藝術推廣及教育貢獻至鉅。他亦工山水，承襲家學，兼收藏經眼名迹甚豐，下筆自不同凡響。惜傳世作品不多，本幅乃其盛年力作，蒼潤秀逸，得趙承旨青綠法之神韻，洵為其佳構之尤者。
