註：賓虹幼歲已臨習王蒙畫作，曾撰專文研究，頗有心得，論畫評黃鶴山樵上承董巨，乃六法正宗，雄渾蒼涼，自成一家法，而世人「不會其意，沾沾於卷雲、牛毛中求之，奚啻去而萬里」，由真山水游賞而悟，靈明內鍾，不滯於物，方是叔明畫詣之真意，證諸本幅，見賓虹得法所在。畫中繪崇巖峻嶺，徑路迂迴，煙靄薄霧，奇峭中得幽深高澹。二三山人，行進其間，夾道林木，或冠如鳳尾，或綴點紅葉，甚見豐富貌，畫家題曰乃天目景致，筆墨則近四十年代後期風貌，許為四八年賓虹老人返杭後天目之游所作。
